Actually, when you do make a character design, you should try placing it in the background to see how it stands up. I'm still tweaking the design of a character I've had for several years now. Just keep going. ^.^

And you're welcome for the watch. I don't see many who have the talent for making backgrounds. Most focus on the characters and leave the backgrounds vague, but this is wonderful to look at.
